As I pursue my dreams, one thing that keeps me moving forward is embracing that it is okay to fail. I try new things, sometimes I get lucky and sometimes it becomes a learning opportunity.
This week has been full of learning opportunities, and some successes. All of which could never occur if I was scared to fail.
One thing I am grateful for is my ability to keep trying. I learned very young and quite literally, "if you fall off the horse, you get right back on", (thank you dad).
Enjoy this little video capturing some of the many steps in creating art. I am so grateful for art in my life. It feeds my soul. Seeing art, making art, experiencing art, breathing art. In whichever way it is in my life, I need it. Hours went into this small 5x7 watercolor: prepping, painting, drying, painting, drying, more painting, videoing, photographing, naming and finishing. Of course, I can not forget that many paintings came before it, all part of the process of creating this watercolor.
